I'd learnt to envision. To paint my own dreams. To paint it vivid and clear. To include the details of my wants and more.
I'd been taught to treasure. To hold dear those little things in life.
I'd met new people. Amazing people. New friends to add to the ones I had had. But I had also lost one.
I believe she must have had a painting of her own. Just as happy. Just as clear. Just as vivid. Alas, it was not meant to be. And so we have today, the earth : minus one. One less smile, one less body, one less human, one less friend, one more tear. One too many tears.
Peace be upon you, friend.

To Live Life Live
You live today to see tomorrow,
You live yesterday to taste today,
You live tomorrow to remember today,
You live life to feel alive,
You live a dead man's life,
The moment you see yesterday today.
And the moment you see tomorrow no day.

Cleanse And Fall
This post is none other than a response to the pleas of someone dear to me. Know that you're not alone. Never alone :)
***
Where am I? Oh, just another dream. But it was too vivid. And I'm still sweating from the rush of it all. Shrugging of the sleepiness, I pulled my heavy frame from the bean bag. I really need to stop watching all those crap on TV. They're trash. They get into your mind and dig into your brain. Urggh!
Making my way to the washroom with nothing to guide me but the familiarity of experience and countless of years living in this room. Effortlessly I waived my way through the mess that was my own doing - clothes strewn all across the wooden board (man, do they need a wash or what...), books turned brown not from reading but plain old lack of human touch, crumpled papers from the previous night overflowing the rubbish bin and the mountain of plugs, wires, chargers and other knacks criss-crossing the floor like a thousand boas lying silently in wait for its next victim.Me.
Thump! Ouch!
You didn't see that did you? No, you couldn't have. How could you in this dark room? Freaking things! Why can't you arrange yourselves neatly?
Luckily, I'm so close to the door that the sliver of white light coming through the gap was enough to tell me quite accurately where I should be heading. Great, the tap. Dripping. Again. I'm broke, and yet I didn't even bother to stop what little money I have from dripping out of my tap. Drip. Drip. Drip. And with each drop, the hole in my pocket is enlarged.
With a quick wash of my face, the details came, driving out all the sleep out of me and a splash of colour was painted unto my world. Looking up, a man with long, messy, slightly coloured hair stared at me. His eyes were dark brown, beautiful and fierce to look at but at the moment, he wore an expression of pure weariness that took out all grandeur from his handsome face. Heck, he looked pathetic even. And the long dark line underneath his eyes didn't help make him look any better.
I'm sick of looking at this man. Turning away from the reflection, turning away from the truth, I lead myself into the dark confines of my room. But the other man did not turn his back. Instead, he stayed his spot, seeing the door close shut, a thin wooden door resembling all that was and is - a separation of two.
Little did I know, the door I so often keep shut will soon open. And far from realizing did I that this time, I won't be able to close it. Just then, with a loud BANG the door behind me flew outwards! Light flooded the compound and at the base of my feet stood two shadows - one pinned to my legs, the other unusually long and tall, slightly to my right.
"Hey, bub. Long time no see," and immediately I know the owner of that hoarse voice. It's my voice...

Memories
There was once a child of the universe. Far did she travel to a place of gathering. And there did she observe the world, trying to fathom the mechanics of it all from the lenses of a person unknown.
Never had she seen herself in the mirror of alchemist. Nor had she dreamed of it, and yet, there she was.
Desperate to grasp the ideas and overwhelming information thrust into her frail frame, she grew and sowed the seeds of skepticism. Skepticism in herself and her abilities and her strength.
However, being the type of fighter she was, she held herself with the help of a circle of companions true to the end. Dead in the night she traveled through the pages of knowledge, sailing the seas of information, navigating the maze of numbers, braving the depths of the unknown.
With each day, she grew stronger. Of body and mind. With each word, she grew sharper. Of mind and body. With each second, she grew older. Of body. Yet younger of mind.
And in all that paradox of time, she burst out of her cocoon, stretching and flexing, wings spread far apart. A beautiful butterfly with wings painted from the hues of memories.
High and higher she flapped. Until finally, she grasp the stars and the moon. There she remained, a silhouette of symmetrical proportion, majestic and amazing. An image of black on shining white moon stretched upon a never-ending canvas of night sky with stars.

Do you know me at all?
Who says I can't get stoned?
Turn off the lights and the telephone
Me in my house, alone
Who says I can't get stoned?
Who says I can't be free
From all of the things that I used to be?
Rewrite my history
Who says I can't be free?
It's been a long night in New York City
It's been a long night in Baton Rouge
I don't remember you looking any better
But then again, I don't remember you
Who says I can't get stoned?
Call up a girl that I used to know
Fake love for an hour or so
Who says I can't get stoned?
Who says I can't take time?
Meet all the girls in the county line
Wait on fate to send a sign
Who says I can't take time?
It's been a long night in New York City
It's been a long night in Austin too
I don't remember you looking any better
But then again, I don't remember you
Who says I can't get stoned?
Plan a trip to Japan alone
Doesn't matter if I even go
Who says I can't get stoned?
It's been a long night in New York City
It's been a long time since 22
I don't remember you looking any better
But then again, I don't remember, don't remember you
***
It's just the strangest thing
I've seen your face somewhere
An early evening dream
A past night's love affair
Do you know me? At all
Do you know me? At all
In all my reverie
I thought I felt us there
A feather in my hand
A flower in your hair
Do you know me? At all
Do you know me? At all
Do you know me? At all
Do you know me? At all
Do you know me? At all
Do you know me? At all

Fresh is the new lame!
When I say your name, I find peace.
When I touch you, I feel electric.
When you lay naked, I see nothing but you.
When I held you, nothing else matters.
When I try to know you, you disappear.
When I am lost, you never fail to find me.
When I am sound, I never fail to lose you.
Wherever I go, I have you.
I have chosen to be with you.
Your words are truth.
Your face is beautiful in every cover.
Your body is beautiful in every size.
You go great in all colours.
Everyone wants you, and everyone can have you.
Everyone can have you, yet no one can hold you.
When I say your name, you came.
Whatever I do, you stay the same.
Wherever I go, you tamed.
Coz I know fresh is the new lame.

Sleeping giants
It was dawn. A dawn for a new sun & a dawn for a new beginning.
A single stone stood precariously on its tip. A soft gust of wind smooth as a baby's touch kissed it, slowly it tilted to one side bowing to the wind, and then it fell.
A far far far way it fell, only to be stopped by a jagged rock that cut through the earth as if it was an old and broken dagger left to rust by its owner but instead of rust, algae covered its blade.
Bounce. Bounce. Echo all across. Silence.
Then, a ripple of movement like steel on rock. A screeching sound so horrible it sent shivers down the spine of trees. Something was moving in the earth. No! It was the earth. The Earth was moving after countless of millenia stuck under, inanimate, unmoving.
Imagine the strain on a human body after a long deep nights' slumber and multiply it by infinity. That was exactly how hard it was for the earth to break the stiffness in whatever joints it is they possess.
The blade of jagged formation now seemed like a toy. The full size - unexplainable. The sound - unheard of. The sight - amazing. And yet it is still growing...
Finally, it stood on it's two legs! A being so colossal it blocked the sun out of daylight. Day turned to night.
One mighty bellow came out! Be it satisfaction or a yawn or a stream of anger, I know not. What I do know is this: the giants have awakened!

Of Young and Old
Hmmm...who's fault is it? When the young turn against their old? Been there, done that. Looking at it from my eyes, I see myself on the right side. But then again, I am a teen. Teens think they're right, they think they're right, we think we're right.
The old ones think they're right, they think they're right, we think we're right.
But then again, looking at it through brand new lenses, I saw no right nor wrong. Just is. The problem with us lies in ourselves. We were born human, we are human, and we will be human for the rest of our short lives. Egos aside, I trust we'll make progress. To respect the old has always been a teaching but respect must be earned, it can't ever be forced. To love the young has always been a teaching but love must be earned, it can't ever be forced.
Too late it is too change, but a little bit too early it is. Time will reveal all, for now I lay in the dark - an egg of a predator lying in wait, growing, waiting for the day I grow to eat the world and consume it. Whole.

Life.Is.Wonderful
It takes a crane to build a crane,
It takes two floors to make a story,
It takes an egg to make a hen,
It takes a hen to make an egg.
It takes a thought to make a word,
It takes some words to make an action,
It takes some work to make it work,
It takes some good to make it hurt,
It takes some bad for satisfaction.
It takes a night to make it dawn,
It takes a day to make you yawn,
It takes some old to make you young,
It takes some cold to know the sun,
It takes the one to have the other.
It takes no time to fall in love,
but it takes you years to know what love is,
It takes some fears to make you trust,
It takes those tears to make you rust,
It takes the dust to have it polished.
It takes some silence to make sound,
It takes some lost before you're found,
It takes a road to go nowhere,
It takes a toll to make you care,
It takes a hole to make a mountain.
Life is wonderful,
Life goes full circle,
Life goes full circle,
Life is meaningful~

The Deed Makes the Man (or Woman)
Assalamualaikum to all. I would like y'all to know that this post is a special entry for all the souls that are lost.
Well, so what's the poster have to do with lost souls? To tell you the truth, this movie has a lot to do with lost souls. I watched this movie hmmmm....I forgot when. But what I wouldn't forget is the underlying lesson Johnny Depp taught me (yes, he was the voice of Rango).
The plot if this movie was quite simple. There was Rango, a lizard/chameleon/lizard that has lived all his life in a fish tank (whatever you call it, I call it F-I-S-H-T-A-N-K) as a pet suddenly being thrown into life at a desert, the Mojave if I'm not mistaken. He later meets an armadillo that was hit by a car, lost half his body but still lived, which is weird... -___- Well, weird facts aside, the armadillo was in search of the great Spirit of the West (which is still weird..)
As you may or may have not noticed : I am not the best of storytellers so I'll leave the story at that. Anyways, where were we? Oh yeah...lesson learned. The armadillo said something like "making it to the other side of the road" - which he was doing when he was crushed under a car. Lived. Walked away. Weird. = ='
Anyhow, this is exactly what most of us are facing. We wake up each day only to find more obstacles in life and just like the armadillo, we would be hit by a car before we even get to the other side but just like the armadillo, we need to get up and get moving (even if half our body is gone) because according to the Spirit of the West "no man can walk out of his own story".
Which is true. It's your life man, work it out. You have a problem? Well, I've got mine. You think your life is hard? Well, wait till you get Lady Gaga's life. She lives through hell. Point is, we've all got problems to face, hurdles to leap from, obstacles to overcome. And the Spirit is right, you can't walk away from your problems no matter how hard you try. Psstt...You can try hanging yourself. But I heard death was A LOT harder. I would know. I have died before. Twice.
In short, the movie reminded me what it means to not give up. Keep in mind that you always have someone to back you up. =D Trust in your heart, trust in your pals. "So you want something to believe in? [points at the Sheriff sign] Believe in that there sign. For as long as it hangs there we've got hope" Then the sign was shot and hung loosely on one chain but hey, it's still hanging right? xD
Rango: "We reptiles gotta stick together"
someone: "I'm amphibian"
Rango: "No shame in that"
And there really ain't no shame in sticking together even if we're from different background, skin tones or classification! We all need a shoulder to cry, sneeze, wipe our nose and bleed on. I know life is hard. "Is this Heaven?" "If it were, wouldn't we be eating strawberry Pop-Tarts with Kim Novak?"
Hey, life is no crunchy creamy candy cookie cupcake, right? But it's all in your mind. "We can control it! Like a monkey's bladder!"
Just don't give up, okay? Or "I'm going to slice your face off and use it to wipe my unmentionables"
You keep going, and I tip my hat to you....one legend to the other.
"Doesn't matter what they call you...It's the deeds that make the man."
For now... "We ride!!"

Going south?
Relationship? To me it's like food. Good food go well together, they compliment one another and though they don't always look okay when put next to each other, they're still great!
Whatever it is (how bad your relationships may seem) only you can tell if it'll go north or south. Some food class like to go through the ileum, others prefer to end up going through the lacteal and others... well, let's just say they go north or south (depending on which way is up..)
While everyone has their own views on this matter (take out food from the context please~) I trust the best answer goes to religion. The Book has taught us guidelines in maintaining a healthy relationship + a bonus on healthy gastronomical system! (*does the term even exist? :p).
Whatever you choose, choose carefully. Coke doesn't go great with mentos and you won't do so great with someone too. Remember that, live your life as it is, make the necessary changes if needed & move on when all else fails! God-willing, someone better is waiting for you at the end of the line :D
Pray hard, be strong, be happy and S-M-I-L-E =)

The past, the present, the future
Science & technology has been a major piece of our lives. It has been with us since the ancient Arabs, Egyptians, Greeks & Romans. Since then, what was two totally separate things had merged into one. Today, the boundaries separating science & technology are fading ever thinner and with it they bring together an era of ideas, innovation, creations & endless possibilities that is limited only by how far we dare imagine.
One day, it may be possible for us to witness the most out-of-this-world ideas transform from mere ideas into vivid reality. And that one day might just be today!
Look around you! Presently we have been witness to the birth of robots programmed to help human beings from doing the simplest thing like household chores to aiding men in the heaviest task of building mega-structures that touch the sky. These achievements that most seem to not see is huge in a way that just a mere decade before, such stories of success are unheard of. Indeed, the accomplishment of the field of sci-tech is not to be looked down upon.
From the discoveries of cures to diseases to the role they play in helping to satisfy the worlds' need for food, science & technology has helped us in many ways. Science has greatly increased our knowledge regarding the world we live in while technology has granted us the means to do with this world what we need. Individually they are good but together, they are great!
However, great or not, they are mere tools entrusted into the hands of humankind. And true to their reputation, mankind will always do wrong with the tools handed to them. Time and again, we humans have proven incapable of listening to reason, of learning from past mistakes and of seeing the truth even if it was smack dab in front of our eyes.
Blind though you may be, know of this you must. There exists a group of people that abandon their duties, neglect this power and knowledge we call science & the tool we have come to name as technology...
A minority of people, in their unconfined passion to find the promises of knowledge & discovery has misused and abused the key to this world. In their unyielding spirit to find something new, they have come to destroy what is dear. In their passion to find one that is abstract, they have abandoned that which is concrete.
Dire though the situation may be, not all of us belong to that group. The awareness to save instead of to harm, to protect instead of to attack, to salvage instead of to destroy is on the rise. This battle of the sciences - both good and evil - are taking a heavy toll on our planet but at the very least, a sliver of chance is shining at the end of the tunnel.
As for what the future holds for these two, no man knows. But the signs are clear that they are here to stay in the long run.
In the past, present and future, science and technology has always, is still, and will always play a pivotal role in shaping, charting our destiny. Like all tools, they can help or hinder. All there is to remember is that when a gun is the weapon of death, the wielder pays the price for murder. The gun roams free. No matter who we are, unless you are a gun, a tool is only a tool. It is only as good or bad as the man holding it.

To turn a new leaf...
Writing something on the web & knowing that people other than those you know of personally can access these written thoughts is not an easy thing to do after all...
Put it this way: I have indeed done a grave mistake by opening myself to the world beyond that of my own mind - where once it was the safest place in all of space, now it is becoming my own brand of poison.
To save the remnants of what little dose sanity I still possess, I have to come to terms with reality. And though this may seem like the words of a dying man, I assure you (to anyone whom this may concern) that I am well & alive. Time will heal all.
In the meantime, I have made a decision to severe ties with those who live in a world of deceit and lies. I vow to never write of untruths and to never hide myself behind a mask painted by stained hands like so many others that breath in the same air that I did.
While naming the culprits will not help with the problem at hand, and I too was at fault for letting my guard down & letting myself drop too far down, it will only make matters worse, if not, doom us all to a point of no return. Thus, the decision I have made to save myself and live on only to save others when I have bloomed big and strong, sharpen my tongue and mind as well as my wits is rightfully accurate.
As for my mistakes : I'll leave them be, not without troubling thoughts, as a reminder of my past wrongs & as a teacher for present and future. I'll live by my word : I will not live in a world of deceit and lies, I will not hide myself behind a mask of untruths!
To those of you who may know me on a personal scale, I apologize. To those who may not know me to such an extent, I apologize.
As of this moment, this pages will be written in a new tone. Rest assured, this is me speaking with a tongue long forgotten. My hope is one : so that this truth will ring forth with the weaves of time and set a-going the rusted mechanics of humanity that once upon a time ran free, unopposed, uncontested within our very veins.
I only pray that my actions be guided in the times to come.
Let me tell you a story about a boy. A young boy who was fresh in his mind untainted by filth, clean & pure but still wet behind the ears. He looks around the world in general awe, respecting every tiny little detail in people, places, buildings, animals, plants, vehicles and all the pleasantries that come with it. All the while, Q's and bulbs popped out of his tiny little head.
He spies with his tiny little eyes : an elephant!
'My, what big creations elephants are', says the boy.
POP!! 'What's that mighty long protrusion where his nose should be?'
POP!! 'It must be for smelling just like mine is!!'
After countless more POPs of Q's and bulbs...he got bored and looked away.
He spies with his tiny little eyes : an ant!
'My, what minuscule creations ants are', says the boy.
POP!! 'Why are there thousands upon millions of ants creeping about?'
POP!! 'That must be your mother, father, brothers, sisters, cousins, aunts, uncles and grannies & grandpas - thinking of his long-winded family tree - just like mine is!!'
After countless more POPs of Q's and bulbs...he got bored and looked away.
He spies and spies and spies some more until he grew old and his skin cracked and his hair grew bald and his back stooped low and until he bowed to the earth right to the moment the earth embraced him - not harshly but as warm and welcoming like that of a life-long pal.
Though he did grow old and his skin cracked and his hair did grow bald and his back did stoop low and he did bow to the earth in the end, he did not grow any wiser nor did he become drier behind the ears (if there ever was such a saying). No, on the contrary, he went into the earth not gaining nothing but nothing & as if the situation was not dire enough to begin with, he lost everything but everything.
You see, he came into this earth a child when the earth was already very, very old. He was a spirited youngling while the earth was a spirited well...earth. He spied everything that his tiny little eyes would allow him to spy while the earth spied all - the boy, his family at the time of his birth, the animals at the edge of the woods surprised by all the commotion, the woods itself with all it inhabitants down to every leaves on every tree be it big or small down to the roots that crawled into the soil to the mountains that lay scattered on his faces like many freckles to the flatlands that lay beyond to the seas and every creature that dwell in their deepest, darkest reach to the large sky high above when it was raining, shining, day and night - be it star-strewn or starless all the way to the farthest reaches of the universe. Would you imagine that...
But the boy who knew nothing of the secrets of the universe got bored and looked away. While the earth, already knowing and unlocking most of these well-kept secrets, continue to observe and spy, continue to learn and educate and re-educate himself. Mind you, the earth has seen it all for thousands perhaps millions of years before but he will continue to look for thousands perhaps millions of years perhaps forever...
And still, the earth took the boy with warmness despite his act all this while, being nothing more than arrogant,
considered quite rude.
Frankly, I have deviated from my original idea (due to my lack of attention & the fact that I am learning to write and in time to speak straight from my heart) but to learn from every experience is of utmost importance to all. My advice to you : FIND A REASON TO MAKE EVERY SECOND OF YOUR LIFE WORTHWHILE
I only pray that my actions be guided in the times to come.
